Shipping & Customs
International delivery is arranged after the item reaches us in Japan. Available methods, timing, and total cost depend on the item, packed parcel, carrier, and destination.

International shipping from Japan
After the original seller delivers the item to Torii Parcel in Japan, we prepare it for international shipping. Carrier and service availability varies by product and destination.
Shipping cost may depend on actual packed weight and dimensions, destination, tracking, available compensation, and any special handling. A quote-stage shipping amount may therefore be an estimate and can change after packing.
- We explain the available method and cost before international dispatch.
- We generally prefer a trackable method when one is practical, but tracking is not available for every service or destination.
- Delivery estimates may change because of carrier delays, customs inspections, weather, conflict, peak periods, or regulatory changes outside our control.
- We do not promise that one specific carrier will be available for every parcel.
Accurate customs declarations
An international parcel needs a customs declaration describing what is inside, the quantity, and the value. We use the actual item information available to us and do not intentionally undervalue merchandise.
We do not describe a commercial purchase as a gift simply to avoid duties or taxes, and we cannot accept a request to use a false product description or value.
Duties, import VAT, and clearance fees
Import duties, VAT, local taxes, brokerage, and clearance fees vary by destination, product type, value, and local rules. Unless the quote expressly says a destination charge is included, these costs are the recipient's responsibility.
If the recipient refuses a charge, cannot complete clearance, or does not accept delivery, the carrier or customs authority may return, store, or dispose of the parcel. Additional costs can result and may not be recoverable.
Check your destination requirements
You are responsible for checking whether the item can be imported into the destination country and for providing accurate recipient and delivery information. We review known shipping issues, but local requirements can change and customs authorities make their own decisions.
Torii Parcel does not provide tax or legal advice. If an import rule or charge is important to your decision, consult the relevant customs authority or a qualified adviser before approving the quote.
