Nature of the service

Torii Parcel provides shopping concierge and proxy purchase assistance. A request is an inquiry, not a confirmed order. We do not purchase an item until we have provided a quote, you have approved it, and the required Stripe payment has been confirmed.

The original seller or manufacturer remains responsible for its own product description, warranty, authenticity claims, quality commitments, and seller terms. We carry out reasonable listing and seller checks, but cannot guarantee every statement made by a third party.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate request, contact, recipient, and delivery information
• Do not request prohibited or unlawful items
• Check destination-country import requirements
• Pay applicable duties, taxes, customs charges, and recipient fees
• Use the service lawfully and respect the rights of others
• Review the quote and item details before approval

Quotes and payments

A quote may include the item price, domestic shipping, service fee, optional handling, and an international shipping estimate. Stock, exchange rates, packed size, carrier rates, and seller charges can change, so a quote may have an expiry date or require an update.

After you approve the quote, we send a secure Stripe payment link. Submitting a request does not create a charge. Torii Parcel does not directly store your card details through the request form or on a Torii Parcel payment page.

Purchase and availability

Limited, marketplace, auction, pre-owned, and time-sensitive items can sell out before purchase. We do not guarantee purchase success. If an approved item cannot be purchased, we explain the payment and refund position based on the payment actually received and any cost actually incurred.

We do not purchase a substitute or alternative without your agreement.

Shipping and customs

International shipping depends on the item, carrier, route, and destination. Delivery estimates can change, and Torii Parcel does not completely control sellers, carriers, customs authorities, weather, or regulatory events.

We use accurate customs information based on the item and purchase. Unless a quote expressly includes destination charges, the recipient is responsible for import duties, taxes, brokerage, and clearance costs.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund options depend on whether the quote has been approved, payment confirmed, the item purchased, or the parcel shipped. Seller and carrier rules may limit what can be recovered.

Intellectual property and third-party names

The Torii Parcel name, logo, and original site content belong to their respective owner. External brands, product names, images, and trademarks belong to their respective rights holders.

Using a third-party name to identify a requested item does not mean Torii Parcel is an official partner, reseller, or representative of that party.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt unauthorized access or interfere with the site or service
• Do not submit spam, automated abuse, or misleading information
• Do not request false customs declarations or restriction avoidance
• Do not use the service for unlawful activity or infringement

Responsibility, limitations, and applicable law

We aim to provide the service with reasonable care. Third-party sellers, payment providers, carriers, customs authorities, and events outside reasonable control can affect availability, cost, condition, clearance, and delivery.

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, or responsibility for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where the law does not allow that exclusion.

Because the service operates from Japan, Japanese law may apply. Mandatory consumer protections or other laws in a customer's country may also apply to an international transaction.
